Location

The house is in Vera-Playa (Vera Beach) next to the town of Garrucha, about 90km northeast of Almeria airport, 140km southwest of Murcia airport, and 180km southwest of Alicante airport. It is on the same latitude as Algiers and Tunis.

All Spanish airports have rental cars available. We’ve had excellent experience using www.premiercarjet.com/spain Booking through the Internet in advance is less expensive than waiting until arrival (you can pay upon arrival after making a reservation). Child seats, infant seats, and boosters can be booked for a € 1-2 fee per day with your rental car.

A project is currently underway to develop a high-speed train link from the UK to this area. The station will be situated between Villaricos and Puerto Rey.
